Does What It Claims
Used seven tubes of this on my semi-truck chassis before painting it gloss black. We removed all the paint first. When we had mostly bare metal we painted this liquid on with a brush. When it dried, it turned the rust green and left a protective shell coat of a greenish/grey wherever we had applied it. We lightly buffed the rough spots away before we primed and finally painted the truck chassis. It worked wonderfully and got at all the rust in the cracks we couldn't get into. My advice is skip the final rinse it asks for after it dries. Worth triple what we paid per bottle - very satisfied.

removes the rust, but leaves a nasty residue
I picked up a bottle of this to clean some heavily rusted steel springs, and while it did remove the rust as advertised, it left an ugly black residue in its place.

save your money
this thing doesn't work, i tried removing some rust from my bike no go, not worth a penny.

Poor product
This works nothing like advertised. Actually, it didn't really even work. I shook the bottle, applied it to a spot of surface rust on my car, and scrubbed for at least 5 minutes. Nothing happened. It says it should turn the rust into a paintable coating, but it didn't do anything. I ended up using sand paper on the spot, which was much more effective.
