Baseball Cleats

Baseball cleats sizes are generally the same as street shoes, although baseball cleats tend to fit narrower in the toe. They should sit snug on the heel to prevent slipping and blisters, and fit comfortably in the toe box area.

Baseball Bats

Have your child hold a baseball bat in one hand out from their body. If they can easily keep it up with a straight arm, the bat is a good weight for them. If not, test a lighter one. With regard to length, the bat should stand 1 inch below the child’s hip bone when placed on the floor.

Baseball Gloves

Baseball gloves should fit well. Avoid buying baseball equipment for your child to grow into. If the glove is too large, it makes it more difficult to control the ball. Baseball gloves between 9 and 11 inches are usually good for kids under the age of 8, while children from 8 to early teens can opt for an 11 inch glove if they're playing multiple positions.

Baseball Helmets

A baseball helmet should fit your child’s head comfortably and should not tilt backward or forward. Helmets are usually available in two standard sizes – Junior and Senior.
