solid product, but overflow issues
it is a rain barrel and for that it works very well. the screen in the top keep crud out which is nice. downside is that the threads where the spigot goes in the bottom are plastic, so mine had to be siliconed in. main issue is that the overflow just allows water to run down the side of the barrel and since this design is meant to be up against a wall the water goes right for the foundation. the overflow hole has no threading so to put a hose on it to divert water requires a jimmy rigged solution.

Conservation
I love my rain barrel! When it isn't my day to water, I still have access to my water barrel to water my flowers on hot days. It is durable and works wonderfully!

Love it
I have had this rain barrel for five years.
It has only leaked from the plastic spigot at the bottom which I have replaced with a brass one. It is on a stand and is hooked up to a drip watering system.
It is not against a wall and I have had no problems with the back bowing out.
It did not come with a down spout diverter, but I found an inexpensive one that works well.
The only draw back is that it does overflow on a heavy rain and the screen on top floats up. I solved this by placing a small patio stone on top.
I always drain it in the winter and place it upside down.

form over function
Bought this barrell as a replacement for a barrell that froze and burst. It looks nice, and it fits more snug against the wall with the cut side, BUT. When we experienced heavy rains, the barrell opening proved too small. The water would spash over. The room lost due to the flush wall cutaway tended to have the barrell overflowing, even with the drainage hose wide open. I'd buy another full barrell with the full open top opening and screen over this one if I could do it again.

Not bad, but could be better
Bought this for it's looks for the front of the house. Looks great, easy to install, but quality could be better. The back does bow out and the screen should have been bigger to actually fit much tighter, no leaks however. Overall a good product, but more attention to detail would have earned this a higher rating.

Terrible
I bought three. Two out of the three screens didn't fit, nor did the spouts. Returned and bought something a little more expensive...I guess you do get what you pay for...

Great purchase
Not exactly sure what everyone else is talking about, but the barrel is fantastic. Mine however might be a newer revised version because mine came the a brass tap. I installed it in my garden on a patio stone to keep it level and sturdy. I also got the stand. Ive had it sitting in the sun with water in it, and has not lost its shape nor leaked. Hope this helps!

looks good but leaks
I as well had to replace the plastic tap with a brass one. Also had to caulk some places on seams where it would leak when full. looks good in back yard though.

Ok Barrel is on Sale
We looked around all over the place before buying this rain barrel. Its tough to find a good quality barrel for a reasonable price.
We decided on this barrel from CT and got it on sale. The Barrel itself is decent quality wise though it does not come with a divertor of any sort. It does have inlet ports on the top you can drill out and attach a hose to if you do find a diverter out there. The other option is to dump your downspout right into the top of the barrel thru the mesh screen. Either way its going to take some work to make this functional.
The spigot that comes with this barrel is a piece of junk. It's all plastic and the hose I installed on mine I could not get tight enough to stop leaking because the plastic threads would just slip. I ended up buying a brass spigot elsewhere for $20 which works and looks much better.
This is an OK purchase considering what is out there. Most are either total junk or way over-priced.

You get what you pay for
This is a poor quality product. I don't think it will not last the winter because it will crack!
I returned mine and got a terracotta rain barrel instead! You can get a terra cotta Agua rain barrel for almost the same price, with a lifetime guarantee!
