Reccently purchase
I recently purchased this little BBQ. We do a lot of camping and day trip and additionally our home BBQ had broken. We went out to purchase a full size BBQ but saw this little gem instead. It works like a charm! We've used it a couple of times now and it cooks quickly. We won't even be purchasing a full size BBQ for this season as this BBQ will meet all our needs at this time!
It has a much bigger cooking surface than other portable BBQ's I've had in the past of comparable price. It folds up nicely and is easy to carry. It also is not particularly heavy which is nice. I would definitely recommend this to friends and family.

Good Portable BBQ
I have had this grill for 2 years it is big enough to cook supper for a group of 4 adults and 5 kids, but small enough to fold up and fit into the trailer to carry.
PRO's; 1. Price .. not badly priced especially when purchased on sale.
2. Size .. small enough to carry big enough to feed the family. The lid has enough clearance to cook a can of bean's and still close to hold the heat in.
3. Grill .. has not rotted out in 2 years looks as good as new. but is easy to clean (not like some portable grills!!)
4. The Spark Starter .. Still working after 2 years!!
5. can easily add an adapter hose so that you can run this off of a 20lb tank.
CON's 1. the fold-able feet are flimsy and cheep they broke after the first season, the hinge broke and I had to re-weld them. every time I Unfold the legs I am afraid I will pull them right off.
NOTE if space is not a serious issue spend a little extra and get the full size folding stand not the little desk top folding legs.
2. the center has a major hot spot that when barbecuing you must watch and move things around otherwise the center items will burn and the items on the far out side edges will not cook.
3. after 2 years of use the clips that hold the heat reflector on have broken and i need to replace them.
4. the grease trap is too small (overflows and makes a mess when cooking a pound of bacon)
5. the grease trap only catches half the mess the rest runs out through the air vents in the bottom so be careful where you setup to barbecue you will make a mess!!
conclusion; for the price this is a great BBQ it has it issues but I believe that the pros and cons balance out to give you a good portable BBQ. that I would happily recommend to anyone.

I use this as my main house BBQ.
The surface area is large enough to cook for a family of four. Heats up fast and evenly. Two modifications I did:
1. replaced all the included bolts and plastic washers with stainless steel ones from a hardware store.
2. bought an adapter hose to use a full 20 pound tank instead of using disposable 1 pound tanks. CDN Tire also sells them for $20.

Excellent BBQ for home or travelling
I purchased this BBQ prior to a camping trip as I was tired of cooking on a cheap BBQ with the flimsy steel cooking grate that never cooks things well. I decided to do some practise meals on this BBQ prior to our trip to see how it cooked and was pleasantly surprised at just how great it was! In fact, I started preferring using it vs. our larger Weber BBQ as it was small, easy to clean and starts very easily. The turn dial start up is fantastic and the BBQ heats up very quickly. I also like the temperature guage and found it to work very accurately. While I do wish that it had cast grills as you do quickly lose cooking temp when the hood is lifted, I found the cooking grills on this BBQ cooked evenly regardless of where you put the meat on. In the past 2 weeks I have grilled steak, chricken, pork chops and salmon all to perfection each time. The assembly is minimal and the unit stows very well. It is heavier but I see that as a sign of quality. We got many compliments on this BBQ at the campsite and I would highly recommend to others as either a primary or secondary BBQ.

Great for a Small Family
I have only used this a few times and so far am very impressed with it. It heats up quite quickly, reaching 400F in about five minutes. The electronic ignition works well, but does not always start on the first try. It can be placed on a table top when the legs are extended, as the heat radiating below is not too hot. The high cover provides enough space for a small pot to be used with the cover closed - although it takes about 12-15 minutes for a pot water to get to a boil, even on full flame. The fold-out side tables are very handy. The legs fold down and the side tables fold in, for easy storage. So far, no complaints, but I only gave it 4 stars because I have not used it extensively. The on-sale price of $100 makes it very affordable. I don't think that there is a better buy for that price.

Great Little BBQ!
We boyfriend and I were given a large sized bbq awhile back, and it just bit the dust. So we bought this while it was on sale for $99.95. It's just he, myself, and his daughter. So I thought this would be a great alternative to a full size! We just got a camper too, and needed a portable bbq anyways - so why would I buy two bbq's this year?
I've only used it once, but it worked perfectly! Lots of grill space (I had 6 sausages and 4 hamburgers on it and there was still room) but for just the three of us that's all that we need! I like the fact that it IS portable too because we WILL put it in the garage when we are done with it - unlike a full sized would stay out on the deck out in the weather. So I'm hoping to get a few years out of it! I don't find it super light, but then again it is a BBQ!
We are going to buy the attachment too so it'll hook up to a 20lb propane tank for home (and use the small tanks for the camper).
Overall if you're not a hardcore bbq'er this is all a person needs! In the summer we probably bbq 2-3 times a week and for a small family this is perfect! More then happy with our purchase!
