Great Grill for Six
I purchased this grill after shopping around. The heat is even and fast. Be careful if you like your meat rare/med rare. Six steaks fit easily on the cast iron grilling rack. Don't forget to condition your grill with oil before and after each use.

Cuisinart the name says it all
I've been wanting this barbecue for ever, so I finally purchased it last week. It took me about 3 hours to assemble alone (which is not bad for a 46 year old woman). This barbecue is built very sturdy. It lights at just a click of the button and it cooks fast and evenly. I love everything about. Cuisinart, once again you've outdone yourself!!!!

Nice and fancy BBQ for the price.
We were shopping around for a BBQ all summer. Our BBQ was on its last legs. This BBQ was an exceptable price on sale for $299.00.
It did take several hours to assemble. However, it did seem sturdy and attractive when assembled. The BBq has even heat and heats up fast. We are happy with our purchase.

Good BBQ let down by poor design
Firstly, this BBQ was fairly easy to construct. However when it was fully assembled it was found to be fairly wobbly and as I found out later, it required an upgrade kit, which Cuisinart supplied at no charge to the customer. (Quite rightly)
In use the Cuisinart performed fairly well. It got nice and hot and seared the food well.
What lets this BBQ down is it's downright poor design. The thing is that when you BBQ food, stuff and grease falls down below the grills. Of course there is a fat tray under this BBQ, but not everything is going to fall into this tiny tray. The entire surface under the grills is going to collect fat and food particles. Trouble is that without partially disassembling the BBQ, this surface is almost impossible to clean. You just can't get under the burner tubes successfully to clean it well. Okay, it's probably only four screws to get the bottom pan out, but will you be bothered? Plus as the grill gets older this pan may not be quite so easy to get out.
It's a shame that this lets down an otherwise decent grill.
By the way, if you get a Cuisinart BBQ cover, the seams leak like a sieve. When you phone Cuisinart, they refer you to Canadian Tire and don't want to know anything about the Cuisinart branded covers! Odd isn't it?

Great BBQ
This is a great BBQ, especially for $399. As already noted, it does require two people to assemble and will take 2 - 3 hours. Some assembly can be fiddly.
This BBQ has more than enough power (BTUs) and the porcelain coated iron grills really retain heat well. The dual burners mean there are virtually no cold spots.
Overall a great BBQ. Couldn't see spending 4 times the price on a Weber.
The grills and burner covers wash-up quite nicely. But I'd advise lining the bottom of the BBQ with foil. Makes it much easier to clean up.

Pleased grill owner
After helping at a neighbors BBQ who owned a cuisinart grill, and taking a look at all the options, bought this unit and very pleased.you do need two people to assemble, and a couple steps were little tricky, but otherwise has been great.
Cast iron grates really sear steaks well, and gets nice and hot when you need it.

New house, new grill!
After just moving into a new house, I decided it was time for a new BBQ. After lots of looking, Finally decided to go for a Cuisinart, and have been enjoying it for two months now. Great performance, heats up fast. Really pleased overall.

Not impressed at all.
Took 3-4 hours to assemble, instructions were not so great. Seemed very nice at first, but three days after I bought it, the battery in the iginition switch melted so the ignition does not work anymore...
I am now stuck to either start it with a lighter or disassemble it and bring it back!!
What a piece of garbage.

Solid Grill
Bought and assembled the grill on the weekend. Cooked two big meals for the family on it (steak and ribs), and really impressed so far. Quality seems great, and performace as well. Haven't used the rotisserie burner yet, but fired it up to test - maybe next weekend. Overall, impressed with the BBQ.
