Great Spreader
We bought this spreader as it sure has made fertilizing the lawn easier--and of course more even. The edging feature is great. There is no wasted fertilizer on my driveway or sidewalks. Can't believe we didn't purchase this sooner.

Great spreader
Purchased this spreader a couple of weeks back. Used it to fertilize my lawn. Works great and the edge control is perfect to keep the fertilizer away from the driveway and side walks.

Great Spreader
Excellent product! The past few years i've been "renting" a spreader from the garden centre where I bought my fertilizer - they really never worked great. I am now using the Scott's brand of lawn care products and love this spreader! the Edge Control option is great and keeps the fertilizer from bouncing around the driveway, sidewalk and patio. Coverage is great and I'll be using this for many years!

Worth the extra $$
We just bought this spreader. Nice even spreading and holds alot. I love the edging feature, no wasted fertilizer on my driveway.

Works well...worth the extra few $$$
I purchased a cheap spreader a few years ago and regretted it. I bought this one on special and am very pleased/happy with it. Built very solid with very little metal (...less chance of rust). The ability to stop seeds from going on your driveway with the flix of a switch is also very good. If you watch closely, you might see this on special. If not, it's well worth the $15- $20 more over the standard spreader regardless.

If I written this review earlier this summer I would have given this spreader a much higher rating. But this fall, after it's second season of spreading lime and fertilizer, the transmission seized up and disintegrated. The lesson: wash it after each use if you are spreading fertilizer. I was halfway through the fall application when this occurred, so I ended buying second one, (not alot of choice outside of this one unless you spend alot more money). A big improvement would be steel gearing and pneumatic tires but of course that would be considerably more expensive.

Excellent Rotary Spreader
If you're in the market for a rotary spreader then you'll want to give this one a serious look.
I own both rotary and drop spreaders. I use this for spreading fertilizer. It spreads relatively evenly for a rotary model. THe capacity is huge so I have no problem doing my 400 sq. m lawn without refilling or topping up. I do like that the knobs on the handle can easily be configured and I can fold up the unit for easy storage.

this unit is great , easy to use, the edger keeps fertilizer from going where you don't want it to......very happy..
