It's alright This mulch isn't the best but if your looking to get ur garden mulched for the time being then purchase these as it does the job. May 10, 2013

big pieces bought this last year, very bulky not shredded at all and some of the pieces were about 12 inches long over 1 inch thick and obviously construction lumber. not very good looking and useless as far as holding moisture in the soil. would not buy this again, may not even take it for free. Good Stuff! I bought 6 bags of the black Mulch by Scotts last year at this time. 2 bags had about 75% of the mulch covered in white stuff that a hose could not remove. Rather than bothering can tire with this I called Scotts as the bag says it's guarantees against colouring for a certain period of time. They apologized and gave me a mailing address in the USA to send my sales receipt & UPC from the affected bags to them for a refund which I promptly received. I understand that when things are mass-produced there's always room for error. Good on Scotts for doing this and quickly, too. May 2, 2012
