Good bang for your buck!
I was tired of paying someone else to till my garden or having to rent a tiller so decided to take the plunge and buy one.It was easy to put together.Just bolt the handle on and put tines on shaft with cotter pins.Anyone with a few wrenches could do it. It was ready to use in less than 20 minutes. The tiller has more than enough power but you do have to take some time to break up sod(grass). The gas tank is a little small but I think the idea is to give the engine(and operator) a little break every so often. If you have a large garden or need to break new ground then a larger rear tine tiller would be better but for small to medium jobs this is a great machine!

Great little tiller
I just bought this thing to till my garden 12'x16' and it works great ! My soil is very hard and this little guy chews through no problem. Runs smooth and quiet.

Great Little Machine
Was originally planning on purchasing a Mantis, which was over double the cost (got it on sale) of this machine. I am very happy I didn't.
So far, I have been very impressed.
There are some negative reviews that initially made me think twice about the purchase, but I have come to the conclusion that many were the result of "pilot error".
This machine is all about technique. For the past 2 days I have tilled both clay and sod with this machine. The key is using it in the reverse direction as the blades spins. The weight of the machine was enough preassure to till all soil types although some obviously take longer than others.
Also, does not require a lot of pulling pressure to start.
Very happy I made this purchase and highly recommended.

So much easier than shoveling to turn soil!
I bought this rototiller last spring because I was so tired of turning over my garden soil with a shovel. I have a large, sloped vegetable garden that is about 18' x 10' and I needed help. I am just under 40 years old and about 135 pounds, so for those like me who wonder if they can control it, I find it pretty manageable.
Because it is a more lightweight unit, it does bounce about a bit and can be tricky to get it deep into the dirt. But, I found with some adjustments to my technique I could make it really dig in. When I hit a large root, it does buck so just always be aware of what you are doing to keep it safe for you.
I find it very, very easy to start and add fluids to, and nothing about it is awkward to use. I do appreciate the unit folds down so it takes up very little storage space in our shed.
It saves me at least 2-3 hours of work each time I use it in our veggie garden. In my opinion, it's already paid for itself!

good little till
I bought this tiller 3 months ago , used it 7 times and going strong. No problem starting. I've removed the rear wheels and have tilled at least 8" down. Hard soil dose not slow it down.

Way too light!
i bought this tiller for my garden but was terribly disapointed with the performance. it is so light that it just wants to skid along on top of the ground and barely disturbs the surface of black ground, and where there was weeds it was totally useless. there's quite a large space in the center of the tines that doesn't get tilled at all which i found very annoying because i had to keep re-tilling the same area to get the weeds. it did start very well and it ran well while i used it and was instantly assembled out of the box but that was a minor consolation.

Very Good
I bought this mini cultivator today and used it for the first time to turn over my 8'X16' veg garden. It started very easily and ran great. It did a fine job of turning the garden. It's a little more effort than a larger tiller, but I expected this. Don't expect to plunk this tiller in your garden and have it do the job with little to no effort. If thats what you expect, spent a little more money and buy a larger model. It is a mini tiller and is only capable of doing so much. Lets just say that it's a heck of a lot easier than using a shovel, especially for someone with a bad back. I would highly recommend this machine for smaller plots like mine but not much bigger.

What a Pleasant Surprise
I had garden along the front of my house. I let the grass invade as well as some smaller poplar roots over the years. This machine chewed through everything in a hurry. I thought I would have to turn the sod with my spade but this machine did the job and quickly. It started first pull, ran perfectly out of the box. I was impressed with something this small and light doing such a great job. The tines spin quickly much like a Mantis tiller which may account for the quick chewing up the grass and roots. I would recommend this machine to anyone, it made this old retiree's life so much better.

Worst Purchase Ever
I had problems with this machine from the very start. From the moment I took it out of the box it had a piece missing off of it. After a long process I finally got the piece replaced. Have only used it 3 times over the past year, and now it will not work at all. Do not waste your money on this product!!!
