From Mulch To Meh
This lawnmower was great for the first couple of months we had it, as we got it in mid-autumn. The second year, however, reminded us of the 20-year-old mower that we replaced with this one. It would take about as long to start it when cold than it would to mow the entire yard. Once it was warmed up, restarting it wasn't an issue. But trying to get it going in the first place was a nightmare.
In the end, we found a guy who just moved and now had a huge yard and an electric mower (60-1750-4) that was too small for his new mowing needs. We traded mowers and it has been great, especially since we've moved and now have a smaller yard.
Overall, if you're looking for a hobby in routinely tuning up small engines or you'd like to wear out your shoulder, this is the mower for you.

Lightweight and Easy to Use
After returning an overly heavy mower, I found this one at Canadian Tire. It was easy to assemble, easy to push and easy to manouver. I have been using it all season and it's given me no problems and does the job right. The mower that I ended up returning had tires that all the grass would stick to but this mower doesn't have that same problem. If you are looking for a lightweight basic mower for a smaller yard, this is the machine for you.

Used twice
Appears to be a common problem with these. I purchased the mower and used it twice. It ran as expected then the third use the mower would stall after starting. Other review had the same issue. Have to take it to a warranty facility now and have only owned it for under 30 days. They will charge $50 to drain the oil so i have to do it myself. Doesn't matter what the price of the product is, it should perform as advertised. I am very disappointed with this product and won't recommend it.

You get what you pay for
I bought it new last year. The first one I bought had a seized engine or possibly pull cord issues. Couldn't pull engine over to start at all. So, I brought it back and it was replaced by a gracious staff. The second one has had an angine oil leak since the day it was assembled. That said, I just deal with the leak by adding new oil as needed. These are just cheapy, throw away mowers and I accept that. They dont cost much, so it will be used and abused and thrown away for another mower one day. I have to say that the engines are great. Mine started first pull this spring after sitting all winter. Remember folks...YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR

Excellent mower!
This mower is lighter than my 21 year old 6HP MasterCraft and mulches the grass to very fine pieces. The engine is NOT a Tecumseh as someone mentioned in the Q&A section (might have been months ago though...) but is indeed B&S (the '&' is very important here!) as shown on the attached shot. For the past 3 weeks, I couldn't cut my lawn because of the rain, and last Saturday I couldn't either because the old one never started in spite of a major overhaul last summer. I didn't want to fight it anymore. So my grass was quite tall today. This mower barely slowed down in the thickest patches. It just cut right through and kept on going. I was impressed! It was also very simple to assemble. I would highly recommend it!

Outstanding
I have owned this mower for two years now. I have abused this mower ( alot ), And it just keeps taking the abuse. Well worth the money!! Should last the average person and lawn well over 5 years easy .

satisfied
just bought this product and was satisfied with its performance. i guess gas powered mowers really does live to its expectation..., the loud engine noise and the air pollutants. anyways, i hope this machine would last at least for 5.
