Bad
The lawn mower normally starts with 1 to 2 pulls, but at the start of the year will take roughly 100 pulls. Starting it after it has been running will take 5-10 attempts. Twice in one year the drive system has broken down. The exhaust will kickback in your face unless you remove the front exhaust protector. Not impressed.

JUNK
We have used this lawn mower 8 times and have replaced the self propelled BELT 3 times. Ridiculous!!!
Don't buy it.

Warning- Mine didn't work so well
I bought this for $289 when it was on sale and had to return it after 2 uses. My problem with this mower occurred after about 20-25minutes of continuous usage; it would fail to re-start unless I let it rest for about 15-20minutes.. I'm not sure if this is normal but it was quite frustrating when I needed to stop the motor to go between my backyard and front yard.
It did cut well and the self propelled feature was nice...luckily CT has a good return policy. So 2 stars for the product and 5 stars to CT on not giving me a hard time when i returned it.

Don't bother with this one
Very hard to start and no way to prime, if that is the problem. After 6-8 pulls it usually starts and once it is warm it will start the first or second pull.
Its Fall now and cooler, can't get it to start at all. I used it about four times this summer.

good lawnmower
This is a good lawn mower for big lawns. i use it on a lawn thats about 100 feet wide and 200 feet long. It gets the job done fast and mulches great. if i stop in between it gets harder to start because of the automatic choke all you have to do is find the carb and there is a little black lever push it forward and get someone to start it! easy as pie. if i dont do that i would never get it started! just a tip for everyone who has a hard time getting it started.

So far so good.
I have never had a self-propelled mower before, this is my first one. I am in the second year and it still works fine. It started on the first good pull at the beginning of the season. I wouldn't expect it to 'drive' like a riding mower and it doesn't. The wheels pull along when you need them to but they are not going to pull you off your feet. I'm not sure what other people are expecting with a self-propelled mower.

Worst Investment Made
Not a good investment - guaranteed to start in two pulls - what a joke - haven't been able to start in two pulls yet - gas line slopes away from the carburetor - have to stand the machine on its nose to get gas to filter into carburetor to get machine to start - thought I was getting a good deal with machine on sale - should have saved my $300 and put towards a better lawnmower

Drive system bites
Had to shim the drive tensioner so the mower would pul itself. If you are not mechanically inclined to fix the useless drive system stay away from this mower if you need self propelled. Mine starts okay hope it stays that way but not holding my breath as I don't look good in purple.

Don't buy
I bought this lawn mower yesterday and thought I got a good deal on it until I got it home and it would not start. I took it back and got another one and made them try to start it and it would not start. The 3rd one did not start either so I got my money back.
