works well - hope it lasts.
I've had this for a full season and have expanded our lawn into some very rough brushy areas, and it takes a licking and keeps on ticking. It works great and takes a pounding. I was most worried about the front axles, but although I've given them a real work out over logs, into holes, etc., they have not bent at all. The blades have to be replaced because of the branches and stones I've dug up with them, but nothing else is showing any wear at all. We would have been happy if it got us through a summer in reasonable shape with the work we've done this year, but it looks like it will last quite a while longer.
Design Comments: The seat is very slippery and keeps you from getting onto too much of a slope. The gear/clutch/cutter levers are a pain to use, especially if you do a lot of backing up as we do, but for the price, we aren't complaining.
4 stars because of the value for the price.

Second time lucky
The first machine we bought lasted about 10 hours before smoke started billowing out of the exhaust. It got so bad I couldn't see anything through the smoke. Thankfully, we were able to take it back to the store and replace it the following day. The second machine is fantastic, we have about 3 acres of lawn and can cut it all in a day. It used to take me a week with our old machine. It is fast, efficient amd has a tight turning circle - ideal for mowing round trees. A great buy!

this is the perfect machine for small acerages,it is excellent on gas and powerful enought for those big jobs,i have owned this model for four years and for the replacement of the battery and sharping blades i have no complaints
