Almost, But not Quite
This is the fourth in the series of Energizer LED bulbs that I have purchased. These are great bulbs, but overpriced. They are fully dimmable in normal dimming fixtures. The quality of the light is excellent, a prefect mix of brightness and colour temperature. The only reason that this bulb does not get a five star rating from me is because of the spread of the light. The package states that it is medium flood, but I would rate it as a spot. If the LEDs had been mounted in a circle with each LED angled out slightly, there would still be good centre coverage and the edges would be better illuminated. The cut off at the edge of the light is very abrupt. I bought these lamps on special and even at that price, they are still expensive. That is what makes me a bit disappointed with them, to pay so much and not be completely happy with them. I do like the fact that they come on at full brightness immediately. They replace a set of CFL lamps that took several seconds to even start to light and did not reach significant brightness for a minute and full brightness in five. Having the light right away on an entrance light means that they will stay in place, even if the lighting is not yet exactly what I want.

Nice and bright
A very nice bright white light compared to compact florescent bulbs. Also like that they are dimmable. I have one but will be buying a further four to replace other older bulbs.

Nice light, fully dimmable
Fit well with existing fixtures, fully dimmable, much nicer light than our older bulbs - they don't look 'yellowy' or washed out. Hopefully these will last quite a while.

Finally a led which provides decent light
It is time that led light manufactures came out with a product that provides a decent amount of light.
I am pleased to say that the energizer light does so. It is high priced but it does the job.
Hopefully energizer will skim the cream from the market and be in a position to reduce prices in future to compete with other manufacturers when enough units are being sold to reduce costs much like the makers of CFL lights did.
I am happy to say that this light does a superb job and I feel confident that we will get a good lifespan out of it.
