Does not work on Steel Wheels
Used on 2006 Rav4 OEM steel wheels, does not work, all heavy rust still there,
After 3 hrs, the Evapo-rust evaporates and the rust does not move at all. Maybe the rust is too heavy for my case.

Great Recommendation
Well I got this stuff , and used it on parts I couldn't hook up for electrolysis and it worked fanastically. Also great for protecting items once the rust's been removed, by creating a coating which prevents the rust from recurring.
definitely a good buy

Works well, but keep away from old porcelain
I had some old tools that needed to be cleaned up, so I poured a litre of Evapo-Rust into a glass pan and left them to soak over night. Knowing the product could be safely disposed of down the drain, I sat the pan in my bathtub, figuring it would make clean-up easier. In the morning, much (but not all) of the rust had come off, and a couple of the tools were still seized, so I tapped them together to free the joints, causing a very tiny amount of the Evapo-Rust to spray onto the old porcelain bathtub. The Evapo-Rust droplets instantly spread out on the surface. I rinsed it down immediately, but the damage was done: my white bathtub was permanently dyed a bright yellow colour wherever the chemical touched it. So far I have been unable to remove the stains even with heavy abrasives and harsh cleaning chemicals.
There is no warning on the product about adverse reactions with porcelain, so please be wary. If you decide to dispose of the product down the drain, don't pour it into a porcelain sink or tub!

Best Thing for Removing Rust
Excellent product, I am restoring a '72 Charger and buy Evapo-Rust all the time to remove rust from nuts, bolts, door hinges, suspension parts, springs, etc. I prefer to use my original parts and this product allows be to do so by removing the rust. No need to buy inferior/incorrect reproduction parts, nothing beats original. Wish it came in larger jugs and mybe went on sale every once in a while.
