Worse than expected
Bought these rotors for my Acura TL 2005 considering known brand....
Installed at end of November 2012 by myself. No overtighting. I know how to do work with cars and everything has been done properly.
There was some kind of loud sound during hard braking from day one.
MetaCote - protective coating is a joke, there is a lot of rust around working surface of the rotors after winter... may be layer of zinc in this "Metacote" shall be thicker?
4.5 month and 9000 km later started to shake during braking on highway speed (not sure warping or anything else, there are different theories about it). My previous rotors (Brembo) demonstrated such behaviors only after 40K km.
Exchanged under warranty, will install new rotors next week (made not in North America, unfortunately). Considering two years warranty and experience with first set of rotors I expect to exchange them again at the beginning of fall, then next spring again. I would not recommend these rotors (at least for Acura TL, it may happen that rotors for other cars are made on other plants with better quality control). I myself will not buy any ATE products anymore (I had bad experience with ATE brake pads as well)

At half price they are a great deal but at regular price not so much!

Great rotors
I bought these rotors about five years ago to replace original rotors on my sierra 1500. I installed myself using a torque wrench, and used a torque wrench when I replace tires (don't let Wall-Mart put tires on had to use 3/4" impact to take them off, old rotors lasted 500km after that).
I put 80,000 hard km on them, Mountains towing a trailer with no brakes, city driving, and they are still straight and have some life left. The rust is minimal, and my pads stayed in great shape too because of the slots allowing gas to escape.

Stay Clear
I bought these for 2 vehicles I own. A 94 Jeep Wrangler (YJ) and a 2001 Kia Sportage. The Jeeps brakes were smooth and fine without any vibration or warping. The Sportage, on the other hand was ridiculously horrible. MAJOR vibes and extreme warping. Had to replace the EXPENSIVE rotors 2 months in. Lost receipt (my fault) so no refund/replacement. I am giving this product such a low score as not only did I have a 50/50 result with this product BUT even in my lifted jeep on 33s I saw no diference than cheaper vented (not sloted) rotors.

I've been using these for about 6 months now. I haven't had any problems. Lasted longer than the honda civic oem model

Great Product
I bought a set of these for my Daughters car last summer, as i inherited the car while they took vacation and the rotor happened to be on sale - they were such nice rotor and performed so well that they are now on ALL my vehicles, They don't just rust up like others and the warping issues that are mentioned in other reviews are due to mishandling and incorrect tourquing of the wheels when they are just slapped on with an air wrench.

Sounds like a jake brake = GARBAGE
I bought these rotors for my 2002 Alero just under 2 years ago. They have always been loud when applying hard break pressure and they are now warped. On top of that, the manufacturer recommends against machining them. So I guess these are just your everyday "throw away" economy rotors. Mine will be headed for the recycling bin right away.
If you're looking for a high performance rotor that stays cool, clean and will not warp, spend the money on cross drilled rotors.

Best I ever had on my Jeep,
Had them on my Jeep Grand Cherokee for two years now and there the best I had yet. Hope you like them too.
