Do NOT BUY
Bought this unit to replace another electric unit I had. I am not happy with it as the pressure dose not seem to be that great as I moved up from a lower pressure model, but this one has way less presurre.
Also the connection to the hose reel broke, and I could not find the replacement part local. I did find it online, but you have to buy a replacement reel for $29.00 AND $15.00 Shipping. Not worth replacment part and the unit is not worth it.
I would suggest to move onto another unit.... :(
Oh... also had to buy two spray guns because they leak!!!!!!! And you will get soaked

Do not buy
Owned it for less than a year. The clip that holds the gun in storage broke off, and after 9 months the handle started to leak. Called Simoniz - guess what, 90 day warranty on accessories. You know, accessories, like the gun (a necessary component of the entire unit, somehow defined as an "accessory"), aren't covered. That's a minimum of $30 plus shipping and handling.
Don't bother buying this unit. Save your money, and move along. Should have bought a Coleman - the last one I had lasted a decade.

Poor quality. Not worth it.
I bought the S1800 about two years ago (50% off). After five uses the handle started leaking, but it still had high pressure and cleaned well. Stored indoors in winter. After ten uses the pressure would not go to high sometimes. This year the handle really leaks and it never has high pressure. Now out of warranty and a piece of junk. Not worth it. I will never buy a Simoniz washer again.

Avoid
I bought this in sale thinking I made a good deal..but the gun started leaking after only a few uses. Since the warranty covers 'accesories' for only 90 days I had to buy a replacement. Same problem occurred after only a few months. Not worth the bother with this brand. Poor quality and they do not take responsibility for their product faulty design.

Waste of money
Used 4 times and broke. Barely cleans the dirt of the house, useless for the driveways, and decks. Waste of money.

Does what it says on the box...
The unit will do what it says on the box - but with headaches...
Firstly the soap detergent will only be used when your on low pressure (by design)... In which case you may as well get a bucket, soap and sponge to apply as the low pressure is less powerful then a garden hose (also by design)
The high pressure hose is difficult at best.... It remains coiled so unravelling it is difficult.
Once you have it unravelled it remains coiled, meaning you cannot travel far from the unit without it toppling over.
The attachments are nice and work well however. Very easy to setup and get going.
But the cons out weigh the pros so I am going to return this unit for a refund.

Better than expected
bought this last weekend on sale 50% off. It was a little "plasticy" feeling at first... but once put together was much better. Worked great ... used it for about an hour...garage floor, patio deck, some siding... there is a pulsating attachment that works the best from all of them... you can not put you hand infront of it. All in all a pretty good machine so far and I like how it shuts off the motor when you let go of the trigger. We used to have a gas one, but it was too bulky and wife nervous using it. This is much easier plus no messy gas. I would not pay full price for this... but at 50% off... i think I got a good deal.

Avoid Simoniz electric washers
Bought one new, nothing but trouble and a very short motor life. Detergent dispenser never worked, turbo nozzle stopped working, motor quit.

works just fine!!
we bought this last year on sale, use it often for the vehicles, house ,garage and driveway...PLUS to clean my Bbq parts after i use oven cleaner and let it sit...i then pressure wash it clean! easy to handle as well....

Great for general use
As my title suggests, this product is great for general use. It's not for those who have industrial needs or expect industrial results. It worked great right out of the box. No leaks! It's handy to cart around even though you can't be too quick using it or else the cart will fall over. We used it on our garage door and it worked just fine. On the driveway it worked good. Doesn't take all the stains away like maybe a strong gas powered one would.... but it got rid of the weeds our of the cracks. This is great value for someone who just needs it for around the house like we do.
