Been using this oil for many years and have been very happy with its performance. You can't beat it for enging protection and cold weather starts. Worth the extra few bucks for added protection.

Some people prefer paying the Cheap brand but this is totally worth the extra bucks.

I have been using 5W30 since day 1
I owned a 2007 VW Rabbit and a 2001 Audi A4. Both cars have used this oil and bought from Canadian Tire. The Mobil 1 was the oil of my choice for the Rabbit since I bought it in 2006, Last oil changed I have changed the brand to Castrol 5W30 and at 4200KM since the last oil changed, I was down a quart. So, I checked and found that my car was burning a slight amount of oil. I changed back to Mobil 1 and will monitor. I have not lost a quart per interval before, so I suspect the Castrol may be the problem. Will update later.
In summary, the Mobil 1 was good and the price is a bit economical especially if they are on sale at Canadian Tire.

GREAT ENGINE OIL ON EARTH
just got an oil change last week...on my camry using mobil1 5w 20, i feel the change already, run smoother,engine more quiet,notice the power when you accelerate...now im excited on winter time that i will start my engine confidently, heat up faster than before....THANKS TO THE PERSON WHO INVENTED THIS...MORE POWER TO MOBIL1

I bought this a few months ago, I have an older Tundra that uses 5w-30 oil. Like the other people have commented, I have seen about an increase in gas mileage. I now get about 15% better mileage in the city, not sure about the highway because I haven't taken a road trip yet. I would definitely recommend this product, especially with the winter season coming up.

Exceptional Quality
I started using this Mobil 1 5W-30 standard for my 2000 Toyota Corolla. Now its not easy to pursuade a mechanic since they will always put their oil. What I always do..I take my branded oil (Mobil 1 5w-30) and say to my mechanic either you put this oil or I will not give my car for service. Infact mechanics have argued with me but still I have won over them. Now here comes the proven fact, I did a oil change with Syntehetic oil on November 2010. My car is always parked on the streets of Vancouver. I went for a vacation for 2 months leaving my car. The temperature changed from 10 to -15. I came back from vacation when it was -2 and put my keys and within 1 second ..the engine started. (Did you see the impact of this oil?)..Try it and see. My mileage is now 25% higher than what Toyota suggests. (Wonder they even depend on their mechanics ;))

great engine oil
i have been a mechanic for 10 years . use this oil in my 97 crv .works nice .use a high quality oil filter to keep it nicly filtered .synthetic oil dsnt burn as fast .retains its viscosity for a long time. oil change depends on the condition of your engine. i change mine evry 5000k.for old oil burning/leaking engines just use cheap conventional oil.
