Excellent value I have used these bungees for more than 10 years. They tend to last about a year when exposed to the weather. Use them to hold down tarps on trailers, etc. The small rubber covers on the tips tend to come off and make them somewhat sharp. They will also mark the trailer so I suggest getting the ones with the plastic ends. Still a good value for many uses. January 22, 2010

Hooks break in a slight breeze. I used these bungees to hold a tarp down on my trailer up the Trans Canada and within 300 km all the hooks had broken on one side and the tarp was beginning to flap violently leaving me no choice but to stop at the side of the freeway to remove the tarp. I had used the entire pack of bungees on a single tarp and had every eyelet of the tarp held down firmly so it should have had no problem. I have thrown away the remaining bungees and replaced them with metal-hook units. April 16, 2009

So many uses There are so many uses for these bungees. I used them to keep a tarp on top of my swimming pool. These would be useful if you need to put something bulky in your car to keep the trunk closed. I'm sure there are tons of uses for these bungees. April 17, 2008
