Coleman Multi-Comfort Sleeping Bag, 4-lbs
Not really for multiple temperatures
I picked up this bag on sale, thinking it would be very versatile for different temperatures. On opening it, I realized the fleece liner does not zip out completely as the previous reviewer commented. It simply zips away from the top of the bag, so you can use it by itself. Both the light sheet and fleece insert do not zip to the bottom of the bag on their own, so if you were to use them without the top of the bag for a warm night, it would be open all the way down the side.
It seems like the bag is really a -7C bag, with some option for warmer nights. I would not take it for summer camping, as its too heavy, too bulky and too warm. The fleece and sheet components do not function well enough to be used as a summer cover since they don't zip to the bottom of the bag. If I was winter camping, and weight and bulk were not an issue, this bag would be great.

Easily the best sleep I've ever had camping!
Wow. I've used inexpensive generic sleeping bags for a while. I've been doing more high-altitude cold-weather camping recently so I took a plunge and bought this Coleman Comfort Zone Sleeping Bag. I wanted something that would be good enough for freezing temperatures and still usable in the hotter temperatures. This bag is rated from -7C to 21C. This is possible because there is a zip-out fleece liner on the inside plus a built-in sheet. In the warmer conditions, remove the fleece and the sheet.
I've used this a couple times at lakes where the altitude is high enough the temperature was hitting 2C during summer nights without winds. Within a minute of getting in, I was perfectly warm. Previous trips to similar lakes had me sleeping fully clothed with thermal underwear and bundling up in my old 4lb sleeping bag and still being cold. In this new Coleman Comfort Zone Sleeping Bag, wearing boxers and a t-shirt was enough for a great sleep.
I can't say enough good things about this sleeping bag. If I lost it and had to buy another sleeping bag, I would get this one without a second thought. Best camping purchase I've made yet!
