Excellent throw line! There are a couple main features that set this throwing line apart from the cheaper ones. First, you fill the nylon bag with water in order to add weight to the line, and this allows you to throw it farther and more accurately. I've tested this line against all of the other throwing lines at CT (including the ring buoy), and this line proved to be more accurate than any of them. I managed to accurately throw this line to a friend in the water 12 meters away 20 times out of 20. Second, the line itself is true floating line, unlike the cheap polypropylene rope found in the cheaper models. This is a definite must-buy for any decent marine safety kit. May 11, 2009
