Great drill even though the LED light isn't great.
I haven't bought a drill for almost 20 years. I liked the smaller size and the belt clip idea. As a lighting designer of course I was interested in the little LED light. I have put a picture of the light to show you what it looks like. I am unhappy with the shadow it produces as it doesn't' put light on to the bit where you would need it. However the job of the drill is not for lighting. This is an excellent drill with lots of torque. I love that the battery has a very quick drop off rate for the battery. This means that you suddenly feel the battery dying while drilling. You could put one more screw in and then its done. Mine came with 2 batteries so its great. Very fast charging.
Therefore excellent drill if you need to replace one. Just don't buy it for the light which is why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. I look forward to adding more 20v Dewalt products.

This tool is perfect for anybody because it's pactical, you can bring it anywhere.

Hard as a ROCK!
If you need to get the job done right the first time, grab your DeWalt! Mine has never let me down. I have always paid a little bit extra for the DeWalt name but it stands for quality and durability. I have had 3 DeWalts over the past 15 years 2 of them were stolen so no fault of DeWalt's. I have dropped them from 10 feet and thought they were toast, but the worst that happened was a cracked battery. I recommend the metal speed chuck as it really is very durable.

DeWALT 20V MAX Lithium Great Drill
Great product overall, DeWALAT as always has lots and lots of great battery life for the do it yourselfer. I framed and did a large deck on one battery charge over the course of a weekend. I have bought additional DeWALT Lithium products and im very happy with them

Perfect for the Non-Professional
I am a part time DIY-er and this drill has served me well in the time I've had it. I've built a shed, a small cabinet, and drilled into several wall studs for hanging and have only needed to change the battery one time. Great value.

My first choice when it comes to cordless tools. I, as a rule buy lithium batteries. They out perform any other.
