Dewalt is the best
I have used many Dewalt tools and put them to test. I have a complete set of 18-volt power tools. This dewalt drill is one of my favorite tools I own. The quality and durability of the drill is better then any other drills out there. The performance of the drill is 5 stars. I have used my drill on a daily basis for the last 2 year and it has never let me down. There are no better batteries out there that keep their charge as long as Dewalt batteries. The fast battery charging is great for production. This drill has a really good chuck. I have used Makita, Milwaukee and to me I think nothing compares to Dewalt. It doesn’t matter if your putting screws in 2x4 or doing precision work in cabinet making. Overall, for the price and quality of this drill you can’t go wrong having it on your workbench.

had this tool because I needed for my deck. It did job well and it's still working good. Very satisfied.

Best Drill I've Every Owned
I've had this drill (DeWalt 18V) for 3-1/2 years now. I bought it when my Mastercraft 14.4 started to get weak. Don't even waste your time or money on another brand, just get the DeWalt the first time. You'll be glad you did! I use it on a regular basis for general repairs and contruction. It has a ton of power, the batteries last forever, and charge quickly. Has been nothing but great and I will buy the same one again if it ever dies.

Good Strong Drill
Very happy with this drill. It was purchased to replace a previous Mastercraft 15V that I've been using for more than 5 years. So far, this drill is greatly out performing the 15V even when it was new, for strength and battery life. Hopefully it sees it's 5th birthday eventually.

beats the competition
we were doing some repairs on our deck and needed a drill we bought another and after 9 boards it died, same thing next day after a full charge! We decided to get this dewalt because it had the spare battery, it worked beautifully we didnt need the second battery(but nice to have) and we have used it several times since and still on the first battery

good tools/ poor warranty
I don't disagree that Dewalt is an excellent power tool as long as you dont mind a struggle for warranty and junk batteries! As a full
time mechanic and part time home improvement junkee, i can't afford to be withoit power tools for wheeks at a time. For the money, i'd rather purchase tool with better customer support and longer battery warranty!

Good Old Dewalt Drill
I purchased my dewalt drill in the year 2000. I have used it extensively at times throughout the last 11 years. I am only on my third battery and the old drill still produces lots of torque, granted the chuck is getting a little worn but until it dies, it will remain my first choice for a tough job. The more you use it the longer the battery will last..
It's just a Good Old Dewalt Drill!
