batteries do not hold up been using this drill in the hvac field- batteries do not last over a year- the best thing about this kit is the flashlight February 3, 2013

Not for serious contractors My girlfriend bought this combo kit for me, for the DIY home owner who is only going to use this for light duty it would be okay. But for anything heavier then that. It just doesn't hold up. The keyless chuck system is junk to say the least. Bits are always coming loose. Power is not greatest. If your looking for something for very light duty then this is okay for that. If your like meand you use your tools everyday for industrial use then you can't beat the M28 hammer drill and hex driver combo kit by milwaulkee I just got as an early Xmas present . Great Combo I bought this set for $130 on sale since I needed a new decent 18v cordless drill to build a new shop and right away I got into building with this drill as soon as I bought it, it lasts sooooo long without a charge I was really impressed and it is still very powerful. charges quickly as well. The flashlight is handy too and the set couldn't come with more accessories. definitely holds its ground next to a DeWalt which I also use all the time. if you need good affordable power tools, look no farther. Home owner only I bought one on the work account and if you are going to use this drill around the house for odd jobs then it is a steal. If you are going to take it to work or build a deck or two then pass and save up for a dewalt or milwaukee instead.Its a good drill just not for the professional The accessory kit is cheap so don't let it sway your decision. The best drill out there. This Hitachi is way better than my DeWalt 18v. The battery lasts forever, lots of torque and power and the weight is good (not the lightest, but good enough). Better than DeWalt for half the price? YAY! July 24, 2011

Great tool I needed a drill to handle some work . I chose this one becuase of the great price and the fact that it came with a light and quality bit set which saved me from having to buy everything separately. I've used it a couple times and found that its really great. Very comfortable to hold and lots of power. I also found that they have a 5 year warranty on this which I found to be pretty impressive. Overall I would definately recommend this package to anyone looking to buy a cordless drill. Great tool at a great price. You won't be disappointed. February 2, 2011
