Great to have handy
I bought these on sale shortly before Christmas 2011. Started out with just the 1/2" which was about $32.99 and went back and bought the last 3/8" in stock at my local store for $29.99. At those sale prices you absolutely can not go wrong. This way it works out much cheaper than buying a quality digital torque wrench for your jobs. Would work for the occupational mechanic but seems much better suited for the DIY and mechanically inclined. With the lifetime warranty you have little to lose with these.

Replaced twice.. So far!
I can't recommend this product, I have used it less then 10 times and my second one just died (Three weeks old).. won't turn on, battery is good.. never dropped.. torque spec is 14.5 ft-lbs.. so it's not like I'm stressing it!
It has a Lifetime warrantee.. so I'll get another one.. but that’s no good when your trying to finish the job. Recommendation buy a good old mechanical unit.. no battery, no blank screen, no worries!!
When it works -it's fine, however I never read the instructions and if you want the "cool" features.. you better read it because it's not intuitive enough to just figure out all the features

Great little tool!
I am so glad I found this little adapter. It's perfect and I just love the fact that you can see the torque displayed as you tighten those smaller bolts without overdoing it!

Great tool
This little sucker was a great addition to my toolbox. It works flawlessly (I checked it against my standard torque wrench) and it comes really handy for the weekend mechanic. It's well built and allows you to accurately measure torque in any tool. Just make sure you get it on sale and it will cost you less than a clicker.
Have your Haynes/Chilton manual at hand, though!

Useful product
I bought both the 1/2" & 3/8" drive units. Overall, I'm happy with both. The 1/2" adaptor failed shortly after first use, but the replacement has been trouble free. ( lifetime warranty is a great here)
One feature that is especially useful is the ability to check/recalibrate a standard torque wrench.( I found one of my wrenches out by 20%)
Overall, a nice addition to a toolbox.

Handy & Compact
I bought this to torque lugs and spark plugs on my boat. Works very well and fits easily into my tool box along with a foot of pipe and you have a full torque wrench. If you've ever stripped a spark plug you'll know this is worth the money. I would suggest testing it on something like a lug first to get the hang of setting it before using it on something sensitive.
