Great for crevices and corners Sanding blocks aren't exciting tools to review (no moving parts or loud sounds), but they are still an important part of finishing wood. I like "soft" sanding blocks like this because they can be squished to work on curved surfaces (e.g., quarter round) far more easily than any rubber sandblock let alone any palm sander. This model has one more advantage: the acute angle lets you sand in crevices and corner. You can rinse this sanding block in water to clean it. You can use this sanding block dry or wet. I don't recommend using it wet to sand wood, but a damp block helps reduce the amount of dust produced from sanding drywall compound. It would help if this angled sanding block came in a fine grit.
